WHAT WE COLLECT

- To fulfil any contractual obligations where you are a client, supplier, or venue
We will never sell your personal data to third parties. We will never share your data with third parties for marketing purposes without your explicit consent.
RESEARCH DATA
Where you participate in a research survey conducted by or on behalf of The Inclusive Wedding Company Ltd — including the Accessible Wedding Report 2026/27 — the following applies:
- Survey responses are used solely for the purposes of research and publication under the Access All Aisles brand
- All responses are anonymised before analysis and publication — no individual will be identifiable in any published report
- If you separately opt in to receive the published report or future communications, your email address will be stored for that purpose only

THE INCLUSIVE KNOT — DIRECTORY DATA
Where you register as a supplier or venue on The Inclusive Knot:
- Your business listing information will be publicly visible on the directory in accordance with your listing tier
- Contact details submitted for your listing will be visible to couples searching the directory
- Payment and billing information is processed securely via our payment provider and is not stored directly by us
- You are responsible for ensuring that any information submitted to your listing is accurate and up to date
Where you register as a couple on The Inclusive Knot:
- Your account information is private and will not be shared with or visible to suppliers or venues without your consent
- Search and enquiry activity within the platform may be used in anonymised, aggregated form to improve the platform and inform future research
LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING
We process your personal data on the following legal bases under UK GDPR:
- Consent — where you have opted in to receive communications, submitted a research survey, or agreed to cookie placement
- Legitimate interests — where we have a genuine business reason to process your data, such as responding to an enquiry or improving our platforms
- Contract — where processing is necessary to deliver a service you have engaged us for, including directory listings and consultancy engagements
HOW LONG WE KEEP YOUR DATA
- Enquiry and contact data: retained for 24 months from last contact
- Client data: retained for 6 years in line with HMRC requirements
- Newsletter and marketing data: retained until you unsubscribe or withdraw consent
- Inclusive Knot listing data: retained for the duration of your active listing and for 12 months following cancellation
- Research survey data: retained for the duration of the research project and for up to 5 years to support future comparative studies, in anonymised form only
